Expectations and boundaries

When you work as a team, what you do as an individual can affect the rest of the group positively or negatively. To ensure that everything that happens is positive during our classes, please take these points in consideration before, during and after your group class:

• Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class so you and your child have enough time to unpack the instrument and get ready for the class.

• Always be aware of your surroundings. We are all caring fragile instruments and want to make sure that they stay in one piece. We also want to be careful not to hurt the person next to us.

• Parents must be intentional during their class observation. Please avoid being on your phone or working on your laptop during the class. You will get chance to participate during the class as well.

• We want to be thoughtful with the people at the church that are working or doing other activities. Please keep the voice levels low while in the corridors.

• If for some reason you are late, please come in quietly and discreetly to avoid disrupting the ongoing flow of the class.
